I can make a block of wood.

I can even put wheels on it.  I can find a child who will smile and find their imagination in the gift of a toy.

What to help?  Never worked with wood?  Ever use glue?  I can find a job for anybody that wants to share this vision.  All you need is a desire to make children smile and a willingness to join the process.

Toy Construction
(in whole or in part)
  • Gather and distribute supplies
  • Cut 2x4s into blocks
  • Outline toys from templates
  • Rough shape blocks on a bandsaw
  • Sand and sand and sand
  • Drill some holes and sand some more
  • Glue axles with wheels
  • Coat with mineral oil

I can make a block of wood.

  • Help move toys, in whole or in parts, between toymakers
  • Work with established agencies to deliver toys
  • Develop new contacts for distribution
Volunteer Coordination
  • Helping herd the toymakers
  • Help train and support the toymakers

Corporate/Community Outreach
  • Find corporate friends and sponsors
  • Find community groups in need of toys
